Connecting up water trough using copper pipe

Hello,

I have a water trough I need to connect up with a cooper connection measuring 20mm.

I will be connecting this to a 25mm MDPE pipe and was wondering if anyone can recommend what connection I should be using to link the two?

Crack in Stone Trough

Hello,

I have a crack in a stone through and was looking at thoughts for the best thing to fill this with so I can use it again?

The crack goes across the bottom of the trough so needs to be something that is going to stand up to water.

What is causing this?

Hello, Any thoughts on what could be causing black mold to appear around the edges of this window? This started last winter and stopped over the summer but has started appearing again this month. New window 2 years ago when we moved in. Could this be related to the window being installed poorly? We ...

Re: 2400mm Chipboard to Fix Holes in Bathroom Floor

Actually, whatever the original material in your bathroom floor, I would advise STRONGLY against using chipboard in any area where it might get wet. I'd use only marine [is made with water-proof adhesives] or good, old-fashioned, tongue&groove floorboards. As for the patches you suggest in the ...

2400mm Chipboard to Fix Holes in Bathroom Floor

Afternoon, I've had my On-Suite taken out and this has left three holes in the chipboard flooring around the size of a A5 piece of paper. I've measured the width of chipboard and it appears to be 2400mm and I'm struggling to find chipboard to match. B&Q and Homebase seem to only have 1800mm max....

What is This Plumbing Valve in our new Property?

Was left on the cold filter when I have moved to my new house.

Looks like the rest was cut off to remove the washing machine.

What does it do and why is there an electric wire in there?

French Doors with daylight showing when they are closed?

Morning, I've moved to a new house and have a north facing garden with French Doors. The other day I was in the kitchen and could feel a breeze coming from the Doors and on closer inspection noticed that the Doors didn't close properly. Where the Doors meet in the middle there is daylight showing ve...

Re: Why do I Have this Damp Patch when the Temperature Drops?

Based on the above post, should there be insulation between the wall in the attic (attached to next door) and the wooden beam or is this leading to the poor ventilation.

Re: Why do I Have this Damp Patch when the Temperature Drops?

Based on that should the insulation above be in the gap between the wall and wooden rafter.
