Butane refill concerns aside, i've decided to order one.
No harm having one in the toolbox for when on the road.

Are Portable Gas Soldering Irons any Good?

I am thinking about getting a portable gas soldering iron. Are they as good as the electric one? Do they keep running out of gas? I don't to keep having to get butane refills. I'm just using it for joining wires mainly. I do a lot of road side break downs. And I thought it could be handy for the too...

The radiator in my kitchen is just breaking my heart. No matter how regularly I paint it, the paint keeps cracking and flaking off. The process is taking about 6 - 8 months. A chip in the glass could certainly weaken it. If it was a car windscreen it would definitely be a concern. You should consider getting filler for it - the same as would be used to repair minor damage to a windscreen. It can prevent a small problem like this from potentially becoming more serious. Y...
