Re: Safe and Compliant Hob and Oven Wall Connections

Hi Wayne,

Absolutely not, this should not have been left like this, it should have a cover over it, i would call the guy back who left it this way.

Re: Smeg SUK62MBL5 Double Oven Cooling Fan

Hi, Have you checked the fan in that oven, its quite easy to access, if you take the oven shelves out and then look to the back of the oven there will be a cover plate usually held in place by 4-6 screws if you remove this cover you should see the fan it may be seized or gunked up with grease out th...

Re: Candy EVO1683DW Washing Machine Won't Start

Hi Dan,

Does this machine have a digital display?
Does it flash any error codes?

Or do some of the other function lights flash any kind of sequence?

The belt check the size of your belt matches the size given on the product page m Pulley wheel is for the BPM motor which i believe is fitted to your machine, replacing both at the same time is...

Re: I Need Help With my Hotpoint Tumble Dryer and Tension Pulley Issue

Hi, Yes it would be better if the tensioner pulley ' Jockey wheel' was better made with good bearings, but then things would not break down so often!!! Can you remember if the parts came in genuine Hotpoint packets as the part numbers should have been on those? Is the dryer currently working ok? Reg...

Re: I Need Help With my Hotpoint Tumble Dryer and Tension Pulley Issue

Hi,

Are the drum bearings good on the dryer?

Do you have the part numbers to hand that you fitted to the dryer and i can check to see if they were correct.

Can you give me the 'serial number' and 'industrial code' off the dryer and i will see what i can find out for you.

Re: Installing a Dishwasher With Y Connector to Sink

Hi, If that is the only cold feed pipe it also looks like it has something already connected, maybe your washing machine? You could use a Y connector i would advise getting a brass one not the plastic version. Waste water will need to go out via your U bend if you do not have a stand alone waste pip...

Re: Problem With Compression Hose Leaking Water

Hi, How old is the hose? reason i ask is the washers do perish over time, you could always try some PTFE tape around the threads on the valve before you put the hose on. When you push the washing machine back is this causing the problem? I think going for the expensive ice machine hose that you post...
