Drywall sander doesn't seem to get rid of previous brush strokes

Hi all, I am attempting to sand down a wall in a property I recently moved into. The wall had lots of bumpy repairs and has had previous coats of paint put on in a messy way. I am trying to sand down the imperfections to prepare for repainting. I bought the Evolution R225DWS drywall sander and have ...

Re: Bumpy areas on walls. How best to level out before painting.

The lumps in the wall are not hollow but solid and there doesn't seem to be any damp issue at all with the wall in the end.

The walls are uneven and in particular they have some bumpy areas which protrude out from the surface of the wall and you can feel these bumps if you run your fingers over the area. I am attaching photos of two of these areas. What...

Radiator and TRV problems after installation

I've just had a new radiator and TRV installed by professional gas engineers on the top floor bathroom of a 3 storey house. However when the TRV is set to 5, the maximum setting, the new radiator only heats up to about 40% of the heat on the other radiators and only 40% of the heat it used to be on ...

What is this piece of equipment for and how do I use this

Hi all, I have been living in a new build in London since 2004 and was the first person to live in the flat when built. It came with a built in AEG oven COMPETENCE B1180-1 and an AEG 222 D Fume Extractor Hood. It also has an extractor fan in the ceiling. My wife noticed that underneath the built in ...
