You will have take a supply from a working light or ceiling rose or spur from a socket with a switched fused socket outlet, then wire the light to this.

If you want the second light to come on with the existing light you can connect live and neutral from the two outer connections. The three lives in the middle are live in live out & live to the switch. The two neutrals are in & out. Black wire with red sleeve on is a switch wire, live return...

Could be something to do with heating, is there underfloor heating, could be thermostat cables.

Fitted this light no problem, went test it, but stayed on, just a flicker of it going off, then back on again. I've got it on the daytime setting & on the miminum time setting, it just won't go off, only when I put it on night setting I can get it to go off, in the daytime. Took it back to Homeb...

the three reds twisted together( should be in a cable connector) are the lives, main feed from cu, feed to the kitchin light and feed to the switch under the stairs. the two blacks twisted together are the neutrals, again feed from the cu and feed to the kitchin plus neutral for the light under stai...

I want to change an internal door in my house, the dimentions of the door frame is 1950mm x 762mm. The doors I've seen are 1981 x 762. I need to take about 25mm off top & bottom, width is ok. Wicks, B&Q ect say you can take a max of 5mm off moulded doors & max of 20mm off oak veneer door...

Sounds like the mirror is connected to the switch wire from the bathroom light, it will have to be swapped to the live side of the ceiling rose

red to com, black( switch return, which should have red slieving on or red tape) to L1, I hope you ment earth(green &yellow wire) to earth terminal, & not neutral
