How do I refill the boiler? Vaillant ecoTEC pro 28 combi

The bar pressure guage shows F22 (manual says the boiler needs filling with water) Having read pages and pages of info. I cannot understand how to fill the system The manual says: 4.3.2 Checking the system pressure • Check the water pressure of the system using the pressure gauge (1) before putting ...

MANUAL required for cooker - INDESIT KD6C35W

I have been onto Indesit's website but cannot find a manual for this cooker. My electrician wants to know what 'amp' wiring he needs to install. This information should be in the manual. I don't want to order the cooker yet as I want all the elecs, plumbs etc. done first. Does anyone know where I ca...

Water filling up holes that have been dug

I recently had some topsoil lifted in my garden (90% is raised) in preparation to take down a wall that has shifted, ready to rebuild it. The holes where the topsoil was removed from have filled with water (approx. 12" deep). I know we have had a lot of rain recently but I didn't expect so much...

Flueless GAS fires

I don't understand the concept of flueless gas fires. Does this mean I can buy a gas fire, fix it on the wall and there is no need to have an outlet for gas fumes?

Kitchen mixer tap

I am going to buy a new kitchen mixer tap which states: Minimum pressure requirement 1 BAR (not suitable for low pressure/gravity fed systems)
I have a combi-boiler, no emersion.

The combi is set at 1.9 BAR so I'm hoping this system will be okay?

Cheers.

GARDEN WALLS disintegrating

After this hard winter, my garden walls have shaved off lots of the facing edges.

I can't afford to rebuild them. Is there something I can put on them to prevent further disintegration and to make them look half way decent again?

Cheers.

Water butts

I have 3 water butts linked together with piping and these are filled via a down-pipe from the roof guttering. Thing is, I know the laws of gravity comes into it somewhere but I can't figure out how to situate the linking holes so when the butts are full, the water continues to go down into the drai...
