There is a tile paint but as a decorator i would say no but if its just to clean it up then just gloss but it wouldnt be me tiles are non porous so paint doesnt take to it. It will stick but any scratch will take the paint off.

Never seen an mdf door ever. Ply maybe. If its getting painted just give it a sand and prime undercoat gloss. If varnishing, Wet n dry sand paper some steel wool and a couple coats of stain.

I always use easy fill if hanging gyproc cove and tack with a pin top and bottom untill dry then its safe to take pins out.

If you have problems get super cove is easy to put up can do a room in 1h its foam filled so no weight and look exactly the same as gyproc cove. Hangs with caulk.

Why do they need stripped?

Just use nitro moers if they need stripped, wont damage the wood but be careful wear propper gloves goggles and a metal tin as it realy does melt plastic.

Just give it a miss coat and if its still visible then fill it with easy fill and sand shouldnt be much of an issue.

Will be that the coat applied by the painter from the building contractor has put a full coat on instead of thinning. I have seen it before on new build there is no time for prep.

Just scrape what comes off fill and touch up then re-paint unless there is dampness then this should be sufficient.

Never heard of a matt finish for wood before. Satin is a matt finish for wood if you get water based then if even more flat than oil based. Had a quick check on the web and dulux decorating centre and they only have a matt black finish.

1. I wouldnt put a heat gun anywhere near a pain of glass, being sash windows they will more than likely be single glazed. therefore i would use nitro moers. 2. Have a close look at the sills if you can see the grain of the timber through the paint then it will be a stain varnish. If its smooth and ...

I use Purdy they have a great range of synthetic and pure bristle which is far better than hamilton perfection, Altho the new s serious is rather good for glossing. Its more of cost than what its usage, i would say ie you wouldnt buy the best purdy/hamilton to paint your fence you would use a cheap ...
