Re: Advice on Fixing a Warm Roof to Joists and Creating a Fall

Re: Cable Size and Amp Rating Identification

HI Robin

Although I'm not too sure what the rating of your particular cable would be, we do have a project covering size of cables and their ratings, hope this helps, if not now, maybe in the future: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/projects/cablesizes.htm

Kind Regards

Lay 75mm cellotex directly onto DPM. Leave no voids. Lay Tongue and grooved chipboard on top of Cellotex glueing joints as you go. Then coat the chipboard with 3 coats of SBR diluted 50/50 with water. Let it dry and you can la any type of floor finish you like except tiles

Re: Under Floor Insulation for Suspended Floors in Victorian Property

This is a carpenters job. Not possible to get a quote in this forum as there are so many variables. Many of fhe boards, depending on how they are fixed, for example may need ti be replaced especially if they have some rot underneath.

Also drill a pilot hole through the rest (or last 50mm) of the timber. See our project on pilot holes and count...
