I plan on making loudspeaker stands using 4"/100mm steel pipe and 20mm ply wood. The speakers themselves are heavy at approx. 15Kg each hence the use of steel pipe. They will look fairly basic with square ply panels fixed to each end of the pipe. The problem is how to fix the pipe to wood so no...

Stepped on Tape Measure, Tape Broken in Two - How can I Repair?

I stepped on my tape measure (Stanley 3m/10ft) today and broke the tape in two.
Any suggestions how to repair this? Maybe with an extra strong adhesive tape?
I might just try some epoxy resin when I get the time and hope it does the trick.
